Campari inaugurated its Gallery ( designed by Mario Botta ) on Mar18th , 2010  –  a dynamic, multimedia and interactive place that traces the life of the brand through modern and contemporary art from 1860 to the present day, in its 150th anniversary year. Campari has collected pieces belonging to many different artists, such as Cappiello, Munari, and Depero, to whom Campari dedicated a temporary exhibit.

This new space with a series of multimedia installations offers a journey through 150 years of history and costume design in relation aperitif red passion has always linked its communication to the world of art and graphics copyright.

Campari was created by the talented Gaspare Campari, master drink maker, who gave birth to a brand that would later go on to be enjoyed around the world.

The 150th anniversary is for us an inspiration to keep on growing and experiencing different creative and artistic forms, always following the red passion, the fundamental element of our daily commitment.”

As well as opening the Galleria, Campari launched the Campari Art Label project. Three artists – Avaf, Tobias Rehberger and Vanessa Beecroft – starting from the essence of the colour red and from the achievements of this internationally famous aperitif, created three different art works to create exclusive and limited edition bottles that describes the various facets of the universe of Campari.

Numerous television spots, including the famous carousel shot by Fellini, will be presented on 15 videowall, advertising graphics animate a big wall, and again the year Ugo Nespolo World Cup 1990, the posters created by Bruno Munari, Pictures of Campari Calendar. The gallery space will become one of Campari corporate museums of Milan and in the future will house contemporary art exhibitions devoted to emerging.

In addition to the permanent section, the floor will be used for temporary exhibitions such as open until June 18, 2010 entitled “Depero with Campari. The Futurist artist created between the ’20s and ’30s a series of posters for Campari that helped make it famous in the world and also designed the distinctive conical flask Camparisoda.
