SALONE MILAN 2019
Dedece Skyscraper Project
“Dominant, important, determinant, no frills, no stains, no tyre kickers, a time of action, a time for realism, pragmatic stands, open markets, different languages, evolved styles, decisive lines, attentive brands, poetry here and there, history everywhere, attention to the customer, attention to detail, lots of people, important signal, classic, yet shimmering, shifting “. ………. Alpha Salone – by Paolo Bocchi
Sydney creative Director Ash Bolland gives life to a modern Micrographia at this years Sydney Opera House Lighting the Sails – a key part of Vivid 2017
“ I always see the Opera House as shells. People call them sails but I don’t see sails at all. To me it looks like a very organic, repetitive structure. That’s what I love about nature, the repetition, by repeating the same thing something simple becomes really complex.” ……………………. Ash Bolland
The exhibition Arts & Foods. Rituals since 1851 ( running from Apr 9 to Nov 1, 2015 ) is the first section of the EXPO 2015 to open, as well as the only thematic area of the Expo located in the center of Milan.
The exhibition is housed in the Triennale di Milano gallery spaces in via Alemagna, extending over 7,000 square meters internally and utilises external garden courtyard spaces as well
The exhibition curated by Germano Celant, was inspired by the main theme of the EXPO Milan 2015, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”, is aimed to investigate the manifold relationship between food, its rituals and different means of artistic expression over a long period – from 1851 ( the year of the first World Exposition in London and the starting point of modernity ) to present day.
