Architectural Digest together with Minotti, New York jointly hosted an intimate gathering on the 7th Feb, 2013 at the glamorous Minotti showroom on Madison Avenue to celebrate the brand’s history of extraordinary Italian design.
A plentiful group of guests, including architects, designers and loyal customers, gathered at Minotti New York to honour and celebrate the tradition of handmade Italian design, enjoyed a dazzling night of cocktails and design
Minotti New York, run by the Hakakian family,were joined by special guests from Minotti Italy – Alessandro Minotti ( Director ) and Paolo Nardini ( General Mgr ).
The theme for the evening was “Handmade”, chosen to exemplify the handcrafted quality of Made in Italy design, with specific reference to the 2012/COLLECTION, launched at the Salone del Mobile furniture show in Milan, which fittingly illustrates the intimate union of tradition and technology that forms the foundation of all Minotti products.
Minotti’s 2012/COLLECTION, is unquestionably one of Minotti’s strongest and important expressions.
The common thread that runs through the Powell and Sherman seating systems, Prince and Gilliam armchairs, Evans tables and Morrison storage pieces is the custom-tailored feel and impeccable workmanship that are evident in every detail.
The 2012/COLLECTION amply reflects the high level of know-how achieved by Minotti, clearly evidenced in the combined excellence of the highest industrial standards with hand-crafted workmanship, executed entirely at the company’s headquarters in Meda.
