The fourth in the series of ” Dedece & Vola Celebrates ” was held at dedece’s Sydney showroom on Mon 22nd Sept, 2014
Previously Dedece together with Vola, had celebrated renowned Australian architects – (1) Glenn Murcutt, (2) Kerry Hill and (3) Alex Popov
This time around, Dedece together with Vola, and Artichoke magazine organised an intimate dinner for Sue Carr – to celebrate the career of one of Australia’s most successful and prolific Interior Designers.
Sue was honoured for her significant contribution to the advancement of modernist Interior Design and her ongoing Architectural interactions in Australia.
The Minotti 2012/Collection was presented at dedece’s Melbourne showroom in December, 2012
The 2012/Collection admirably marries innovation and consistency, both distinguishing features of the Minotti brand.
The collection is striking in its unconventional use of a colour palette, that is both elegant and sophisticated, adding depth to shapely lines.
Elle Decor Italia presented an exhibition at the Palazzo Reale, on the concept of Milanese ” Design for Life ” which presented ( with a cinematic eye ) 25 years of interior design as told through photographic shots of homes as seen in Elle Decor Italy magazines from 1990 until today – to communicate ways to live, to furnish, decorate, express themselves.
Design and craftsmanship continue to be at the heart of Mindcraft that, in its tenth edition, presents a project curated by Ditte Hammerstrøm.
In this year’s exhibition, the objects on display take centre stage, with an emphasis on the hands-on engagement with the material and the visual, aesthetic and sensuous qualities of the objects.
Combining the curatorial notion of a major Biennale and the commercial potential of an Art Fair, the NOTFAIR will be an opportunity for art aficionados to discover numerous unrepresented artists and a careful selection of artists the organisers believe deserve a higher profile.
