Paola Lenti’s ” Build panel system” designed by Francesco Rota
Build is a system of modular panels that are conceived to divide and equip interior spaces; they are covered with Brio fabric and can be fixed to the wall or can create freestanding compositions as well as furniture pieces with an architectural flair.
Paola Lenti presented her new rug / carpet collections at the Chiostri della Società Umanitaria under the theme ” Beyond Colour”
Going beyond colour to discover the discreet, invisible vein that gives new form and concreteness to the creative gesture, which thrives on inter-weavings, balances and vibrations that unexpectedly lead to the perfection of the finished object.
The all-enveloping weave of the colours creates reflections that accentuate the harmony of the forms in a play of chromatic modulations.
The new Paola Lenti collection was once again launched at the serene Chiostri dell’Umanitaria, ( monastic cloisters in the heart of Milan ) .
Beyond Colour was the 2015 theme chosen by Paola to emphasise the visionary designer’s quest to go beyond the enveloping spell of colours towards a vision of outdoor and indoor living.
This concept is vision centered on furniture intended as functional and elegant products, simple and, at the same time, able to redesign unity.
Paola Lenti’s creations reveal careful study of materials and their composition, together with the continuous dialogue with natural materials needed to host a welcoming space for Salone visitors.
Paola Lenti invited LAN ( Laboratorio Architecture Naturali ) to construct a natural setting using just bamboo and synthetic rope – to creatively display Paola Lenti’s beautiful Taiki outdoor lamps

In a world overpopulated by signs, products, images and experiences can a threshold of the invisible still exist ? And above all, what happens when design faces the imperceptible, the complex, the infinitely large/small, the counter-intuitive?
The (In)visibile Design exhibition investigates these potential new scenarios through 26 projects by international designers and artists engaged in studying the frontiers of the invisible.
Os Gemeos worked on the first artwork intervention ” Efêmero ” ( ephemeral ) covering a total area of a thousand square meters, in the first “Outside the Cube” arts program at Pirelli’s HangarBicocca
Drawing inspiration from the shape and history of the Pirelli HangarBicocca building, where train locomotives were built during the twentieth century, as well as from the close proximity of railway lines running parallel to the site, Efêmero recreates the silhouette of a city train on a monumental scale
