The Room of Change @ Salone Milan 2019

For ‘The Room of Change’ Accurat created a 30-meters-long hand-crafted data-tapestry illustrating how multiple aspects of our environment have changed in the past centuries, how they are still changing, and how they will likely continue changing, addressing many of the topics presented in the exhibition.

With this installation, Accurat questions a communication made only of data and numbers and suggests a change of scale and perspective.

Opened earlier this month to coincide with the city’s NYC x Design festival, the new Tom Dixon Soho / Manhattan outpost forms the “USA East Coast hub” for the brand, complimenting the existing store in Los Angeles.

The late 19th century showroom at 25 Greene Street, Soho, New York now showcases Tom Dixon’s rapidly expanding catalogue of lighting, furniture and home accessories in a generous 625 sqm twin floor retail store setting

The office and co-working space infrastructure, designed by the award-winning workplace architects Barr Gazetas, are focused on true community working through expert curation of complex floor plans and space use.

The new spaces offer high quality fit-out and technology services, with the interior designs provided by the acclaimed British designer Tom Dixon and his Design Research Studio whose past work includes Shoreditch House and the Mondrian Hotel, London.

This is the first time that DRS and Tom Dixon have designed a co-working environment.
