The office and co-working space infrastructure, designed by the award-winning workplace architects Barr Gazetas, are focused on true community working through expert curation of complex floor plans and space use.

The new spaces offer high quality fit-out and technology services, with the interior designs provided by the acclaimed British designer Tom Dixon and his Design Research Studio whose past work includes Shoreditch House and the Mondrian Hotel, London.

This is the first time that DRS and Tom Dixon have designed a co-working environment.

The undisputed protagonist of Fuorisalone will be notably absent this year.

After 27 years of uninterrupted presence at the Milano Design Week, and every single time as the highlight of Fuorisalone in a crescendo of installations and events on an ever larger scale, appeal and success, this year, Tom, the rebellious and unpredictable hero of British design, surprises us again, but in another, truly unexpected, way – this time by NOT presenting his new collections in Milan.

Instead Tom will place all his bets on his new London Headquarters and his World Tour- which he has already embarked upon

This year, Tom took a step back and looked at his biggest influence and the underpinning inspiration for what he does – his materials.

At DesignJunction Edit Milan, Tom Dixon took over a 400m² abandoned theatre within Casa dell’Opera Nazionalle Balilla.

Inside The Cinema, Tom created an entertainment show highlighting his latest designs through a series of extraordinary installations and light shows.

The set designs proposed by Brit Tom Dixon during Milan Design Week are always stunning

So now in 2015, Tom has launched his latest collections in a unique interactive entertainment show at ” The Cinema ” – in the abandoned theatre of the Casa dell’Opera Nazionale Balillain the heart of Milan city.

Tom transformed the derelict theatre with a headline presentation, calling on the building’s historic roots of a 1970s cinema to highlight his latest designs through a series of installations.
