Nilufar owner Nina Yashar, collaborated with the Instituto Bardi Casa du Vidro in São Paulo, to bring together the largest number of furniture pieces by Rome-born Brazilian designer Lina Bo Bardi ever to be exhibited in one place.

Yashar has managed to acquire an example of almost all of Bo Bardi’s furniture designs and she considers this the most important show of her four-decade career as a Gallerist.

Linbrasil presented a selection of iconic and modernist furniture of the versatile Brazilian architect and designer Sergio Rodrigues (1927-2014), internationally recognized as the first to create, in the 50s, a unique identity for Brazilian design.

It is estimated that during his long career he created more than 1,200 furniture projects, with some single pieces for specific architecture client projects.

To co-incide with the Salone 2016, Nilufar presented an exhibition dedicated to Brazilian design, boasting a collection of over fourty pieces from the period 1940-1970.
