Paola Lenti Relationships ( Pt 2 / 3 ) @ Salone Milan 2016

Paola Lenti Relationships ( Pt 2 / 3 ) @ Salone Milan 2016

The creativity of Paola Lenti strives toward gradations, always diverse, offering to our perceptions a new host of delicate and luminous tones.

The already powerful range of colours offered by Paola Lenti, which allows for customizing its outdoor seating and rug collections, was refreshed with new soft pastel hues, which invite us to escape the greyness of the routine and to indulge in a new lightness, suspended between the transparent light of the clouds and the colours of the winter sea.

Paola Lenti Relationships ( Pt 1 / 3 ) @ Salone Milan 2016

For the 6th year in a row, the Franciscan monastery Chiostri dell’Umanitaria again hosts the presentation of the new Paola Lenti collections during the Salone.

This is an association that has given back to the people of Milan one of those institutions symbolic of the city itself and which provides visitors to the Fuorisalone with one of its most surprising experiences

What makes this Paola Lenti 2016 installation special is its origins – the result of relationships made of dialogues, exchange and sharing of ideas with designers, stylists and artisans.

Aesthetics of Misery @ Salone Milan 2015

At the baroque Lombard 18th century Palazzo Litta, project curators Andrea Branzi and Michele De Lucchi presented 16 projects of “social environment”, based on the concept of misery, a subject always expressed in arts, cinema and literature but basically alien to the Salone design culture.

“Aesthetics of Misery” was born as a result of a postgraduate experimental workshop at the Politecnico di Milano, overseen by Francesca Balena Arista and Marco De Santi, during which students were asked to take on the theme of misery, almost always excluded from aesthetics design.

Paola Lenti goes Beyond Colour @ Salone Milan 2015

Paola Lenti goes Beyond Colour @ Salone Milan 2015

The new Paola Lenti collection was once again launched at the serene Chiostri dell’Umanitaria, ( monastic cloisters in the heart of Milan ) .

Beyond Colour was the 2015 theme chosen by Paola to emphasise the visionary designer’s quest to go beyond the enveloping spell of colours towards a vision of outdoor and indoor living.

This concept is vision centered on furniture intended as functional and elegant products, simple and, at the same time, able to redesign unity.
