Interni “Human Spaces” Exhibition @ Salone Milan 2019

Interni asked the architects and designers participating in this year’s edition of the event to translate the concept of ‘ Human Space’ into experimental installations, starting with the furnishings that surround us and extending to urban mobility.

From the natural environment to macro-system of production, such as the virtuous – and by now necessary – circular economy.

In collaboration with partner companies and institutions, over thirty installations have been created for the show, envisioning a future in which nature and the planet are protected, resources are saved and artificial intelligence is applied for the common good, promoting personal well being.

To co-incide with the Salone 2016, Nilufar presented an exhibition dedicated to Brazilian design, boasting a collection of over fourty pieces from the period 1940-1970.

With its unique assembly of Brazilian furniture on view in the fashionable Via Spiga gallery, Nina Yashar once more proves that she is the local champion of beautiful objects.

Niemeyer, who died in 2012, was one of the most prolific modernists of the twentieth century, an architect intrigued by building techniques, and made famous for sensuous curves of concrete.

This documentary was made to coincide with his 100th birthday (in 2007) celebrating his long life dedication to architecture both in Brazil and overseas. It tells the story of Oscar Niemeyer, whose principal feature was ” the curved line “
