Reinforcing her unmistakable instinct as an explorer, Gallerist Nina Yashar hosted a striking showing in the scenographic atmospheres of Nilufar Depot in Via Lancetti 34.
Set design, from Space Caviar’s Joseph Grima, presented as a rarefied landscape with pieces suspended in scenographic bubbles evoking the utopian residences of the 70’s experimentation in Radical Design.
Nilufar owner Nina Yashar, collaborated with the Instituto Bardi Casa du Vidro in São Paulo, to bring together the largest number of furniture pieces by Rome-born Brazilian designer Lina Bo Bardi ever to be exhibited in one place.
Yashar has managed to acquire an example of almost all of Bo Bardi’s furniture designs and she considers this the most important show of her four-decade career as a Gallerist.
Gallerist Nina Yashar’s majestic Nilufar Depot together with her smaller central gallery space in via della Spiga, created the opportunities to stage historic design pieces and contemporary projects alongside each other in beautifully crafted vignette settings

Nilufar Depot is a three story treasure trove featuring 3,000 pieces of historic and contemporary design, conceived by many of the young designers that Yashar has championed over the years.
