“Transitions by Panasonic Design” celebrates Panasonic’s 100-year anniversary with a landmark installation and a series of panel discussions exploring the future of design.
” Air Interventions “, the immersive installation in the courtyard of the Pinacoteca de Brera (Brera Academy of Fine Arts) is a 20-metre diameter air dome in the shape of a water drop and is the focal point of the exhibition – a huge “water-drop pavilion”
The Milano Design Award is, to date, the only of its kind devoted to celebrating the best installations of the Fuorisalone, otherwise known as the events that happen in the City not the Fairgrounds.
One of the goals of this award is to document the evolution of taste and the emerging trends at Milan Design Week.
It also aims to recognize the work of the international community of design.
Now in its sixth year, the Milan Design Award has become one of the most anticipated moments of Milan Design Week.
Dedicated to the most interesting installations of the week, the award goes to a designer or team whose work combines design, performance, technology and entertainment.
