Salone Milan 2010 – Swarovski Designer Conversations

In a bid to give the show a little extra contextual grounding, Swarovski is to host a ‘Designer Conversation’ between current Crystal Palace chandelier designers Gwenael Nicolas, Yves Béhar and Roger van der Heide alongside artists Studio Job, and Nadja Swarovski. ( chaired by Future Laboratory )

Topics up for discussion include -

‘Participatory culture’, questioning the way technological developments have changed our ability to create and deliver ideas;

‘Dreamtelligence’, exploring the way in which dreams and fantasy inform the ideas process;

‘Environmental Acknowledgment’, focusing on the impact that sustainable, low cost design has made upon the luxury market.
